In a little over nine hours I leave for the
airport. First we're going to North Carolina, then after a few hours of
waiting, we will continue to London. I do plan on listening to
"Carolina" by Benjamin Gibbard while on the layover.
It has been a long day, a good day, but a long day. I spent most of the
day running around picking up everything I need for the trip. I am definitely a
pro at procrastination. Needless to say I am all packed and ready to go. Most
of what I am taking consists of the materials needed for my extra-curricular
activities (long board, climbing shoes, etc.). I am taking clothes though; so
don’t worry.
The day was also spent with friends, partially in a basement in fear of
a tornado, but with friends nonetheless. Got some good laughs in, and a couple
goodbyes. I am ready to go. Now I just need to get some sleep and it will be
time to leave! Or I’ll stay up and watch Tucker play Halo some more.
